DirecciónLAT Regional Procurement Organization (RPO) is responsible for managing LATAM (From México to Argentina, including Brasil) Vestas' spend with external suppliers. With a matrix organization, global and regional roles, the RPO ensures the deployment of common strategy and processes with same overall goals across all Vestas regions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement and sales relationship.
- Provide information about pricing for new bids, meaning internal information (from other procurement categories) or external information (from suppliers)
- Support to develop suppliers on new markets/new projects.
- Have an effective participation during the budgetting process providing current market information.
- Effective participation during service contract deals negotiations.
- Support on the definition and implementation of new multibrand platforms (costing, supplier development, partnerships)
- Seek new developments to reduce cost.
- This position will report to service & Indirect procurement manager.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for an efficient procurement/sales professional, with a experience with a similar category.
- Bachelor/diploma or Master's degree in the field of (or related to) Supply Chain management , Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
- Experience in Procurement
- Experience in Sales is a plus.
Competencies:
- Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Having a 'can do' approach and positive attitude towards the challenges you will face
- Analytical with high negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Market Knowledge & technical experience in multibrand wind turbines will be desirable.
