YOUR MISSION- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for software projects.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather requirements and ensure a thorough understanding of customer needs.
- Analyze and validate requirements to ensure clarity, consistency, and feasibility, identifying any gaps or conflicts.
- Create clear and concise requirement documents, including user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Prioritize and manage the requirements backlog, working closely with the product manager and development team to align with project goals and priorities.
- Collaborate with the development team to provide clarifications, answer questions, and ensure a shared understanding of the requirements.
- Assist in the creation and review of test cases and test plans to validate that the implemented solution meets the specified requirements.
- Conduct regular requirement reviews and maintain traceability between requirements, design artifacts, and test cases.
- Monitor and communicate requirement changes and their impact to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring proper documentation and change management processes are followed.
- Continuously improve the requirements engineering process, tools, and templates, incorporating best practices and lessons learned.
YOUR TALENT- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience as a Requirements Engineer, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a track record of successfully gathering and managing requirements for software projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and processes and translate them into clear and concise requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including clients, product managers, developers, and quality assurance teams.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and use case analysis.
- Familiarity with requirement management tools and methodologies, ensuring proper version control and traceability.
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and their impact on requirements engineering.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve inconsistencies, conflicts, and gaps in requirements.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Continuous learning mindset, staying up-to-date with industry trends, requirements engineering practices, and tools.
