The Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the company, from the initial ideation through to completion.
He/she Coordinates people and processes to deliver projects on time, within budget and with the desired outcomes aligned to objectives.
The Project manager is the point of liaison between the project team and senior management and is in charge of identification and mitigation risks which may impact successful delivery of projects.
Familiar with Agile methodologies including
SCRUM/Kanban
Prepping/Facilitating Scrum Process and Ceremonies for a engineering team
Delivery Focused
Proactively helps identify dependencies external to the team and engages stakeholders, formulate delivery plan/timelines/contingencies
Works to ensure that value is delivered seamlessly end to end (requirement, development, testing, acceptance, deployment, etc)
Removes Impediments
Candidate has Process Improvement Mindset
Identifies challenges to delivery and works with team, stakeholders, etc to find solutions
Data Driven
Gathers metrics on development process and can utilize to identify bottlenecks, improvements, etc
Qualifications:
Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development.
Business & commercial acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills are also essential.
Analytical skills are necessary in order to correctly identify risks and solve any problems which may arise throughout the project.
Mathematical and budgeting skills.
Good time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
A good communicator with effective stakeholder management & conflict resolution
