QA Test Automation with Python
Location: NYC, NY – Hybrid (2 days a week at client office)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.
- A strong automation person having 7-10 years of experience in UI and API automation.
- Strong on QA processes in Agile methodology, conversant with Agile processes and ceremonies
- Someone who can work independently, directly with a variety of stakeholders including developers and project managers
- Strong communication and stakeholder management – will need to own QA deliverables for the project
- Flexible to work with teams located globally, especially India
- Must have:
- Hands-on experience of Selenium with Python and BDD.
- Rest API automation
- Designing automation framework
- Banking and Financial Services background
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Working within agile (Safe-agile) development teams with a BDD approach and supporting the developers to quality assure developments early.
- Setting up framework and standards, manage all the automation setup activities.
- Utilize development skills, data manipulation skills and scripting skills to engineer technical, repeatable tests
- Coordinating automation testing activities of your onshore and offshore team
- Report on testing progress and strategy and provide interpretation and insight on progress to inform management to take decisions.
- Writing test plans and cases for in scope requirements/user stories.
