DirecciónCognizant is seeking a Linux Administrator for a full time opportunity in Beaverton, OR.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide L2 & L3 level support for Linux OS (Redhat, Oracle Linux CentOS, SuSE Linux and Ubuntu) administration tasks.
- Understand AWS or OCI cloud environments.
- Server provisioning and decommissioning based on application team’s requirement (Customization post build)
- Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of H/W and OS
- Troubleshooting skills in L2 level
- Experience on handling various incidents and changes.
- Hardware knowledge expected: DELL (IDRAC) HPE (ILO)
- Linux patching with satellite server or copilot
- Knowledge of firmware update procedures
- User management via SSSD and Kerberos
- File system management
- Package management
- Clustering and High availability management along with Virtualization solutions.
Qualifications:
- Five years of experience with Linux (Redhat,Ubuntu,Oracle Linux,SuSE Linux).
- Three years of experience with Bash
- Two years of experience with storage and Ansible
- One year with Python scripting.
