Security Engineer (4+ Years Experience - Usd Salary)

We are looking for a Security Engineer to join a Canadian Fintech company! 100% remote and 70% of the salary paid in USD!
What you will be doing:
-Understanding complex technical issues and managing them within a fast-paced business environment
-Maintaining all the software and hardware in relation to security (includes but not limited to Anti-malware, SIEM, WAF, VM, PAM, KMS, etc)
-Leading/participating in security incident response and routine security operations & engineering duties
-Documenting security certification, contributing to the development and enforcement of reference architectures and security standards
-Identifying current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats and devising practical solutions and control recommendations to mitigate risk.
-Researching, sourcing and implementing new security solutions to better protect the organization
-Conducting proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies for remedy and risk reduction
-Liaising with vendors to implement security solutions
-Fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness at Flexiti
What you should have:
*Advanced English
*4+ years' work experience as a Security Engineer, specifically in areas of incident response and tool implementation (console access)
*Strong knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems, coding languages, and/or Networks, as well as Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP and Azure)
*Proficient understanding of common risk frameworks, regulations and security benchmarks (NIST, OWASP, PCI, CIS)
*Strong preference for candidates who currently hold or in process of acquiring industry recognized Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, CRISC)
*Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
