FP&A Analyst at MediaMonks BA

Now, about the opportunity: In this position, you will work with a global team of Finance Controllers supporting the reporting processes for internal and client facing reports. As a Semi Senior Finance Analyst, you’ll support data collection and entry of key financial and marketing datasets to ensure up to date reporting capabilities. Finance Analysts responsibilities include, finance data processing, creating and maintaining finance trackers utilized globally, ensuring accurate and current information is accessible to our operations teams, and supporting four Business Unit Finance Controllers in data analytics. If you have a background in data analysis and reporting, along with a strong Excel/Sheets skillset, we’d like to meet you! 

In This Team We

  • Work with global Business Partners and our Finance teams in the use of financial analytics to ensure financial health and drive business improvement forward.
  • Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data.
  • Prepare performance financial reports for internal and external use by collecting, analysing, formatting, and presenting information.
  • Create, update, and maintain financial models for business support.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will report to our Financial Business Partner. This is a position that will directly support Project level Finance Controllers across four Business Units globally.  
  • Key task before all else: you will be responsible for ensuring our finance reporting has the most recent data sets applied and will work with multiple team members to collect the source data required to maintain the relevancy of the reports. You will have ownership on project burn data sets that will allow leadership insight into project health, as well as upkeep to the source data for our reconciliation on completed projects for client level reporting. 
  • You’ll manage the upkeep of several finance driven reports, keeping data up to date and ready for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews both internally as well as client facing reporting.
  • Process data from several different sources into one usable source data set for utilization across multiple reporting platforms globally. 
  • You’ll work hard on improving our processes, research, and developing new ways of working that create efficiencies in our reporting model. 
  • You’ll share your ideas for improvement and your knowledge with our local and regional team.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree level of thinking and working 
  • A minimum of about 3-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Fluent in English with written and verbal communication skills 
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office, must have advanced user knowledge of Excel and experience in using Google Sheets
  • High level of attention to detail is a must
  • Prior experience in data processing and management of data upkeep
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Able to switch between tasks at any moment 
  • Familiar with accounting software, especially Netsuite, Exact, and QuickBooks
  • Capable of working effectively from a remote office
  • You have strong problem-solving, data driven, and reporting skills.
  • You are able to prioritize competing demands.
  • Ease of learning and adaptation: we have the ability to change fast.

Good-to-have

  • Bachelor degree completed in accounting, engineering, economics or related fields.
