General Description

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of loans performance. Support the fund's compliance requirements and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Manage borrower reporting, follow up on information, and resolve any discrepancies identified during the loan review process for the Private Capital Advisory group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the loan closing and disbursement process. Ensure the accurate and timely completion of closing checklists for new loans.

  • Manage borrower reporting. Verify the submission of regulatory documentation and compliance with all requirements established in the loan agreement.

  • In charge of ongoing monitoring and administration of portfolio companies, including performance analysis, reporting, and risk management.

  • Review loan agreements and financial statements to confirm that borrowers are meeting their obligations and financial covenants.

  • Follow up on pending information and address any discrepancies uncovered during the loan review process. Ensure with the operations and compliance area that all necessary documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Verify the integrity of the loan’s collateral. Ensuring the collateral is adequately recorded. Verify that taxes and insurance are paid in a timely manner.

  • Assist with external and internal audits to ensure that all loan administration and compliance processes meet the established regulatory standards and internal governance protocols. Provide accurate and comprehensive documentation, responding to auditor inquiries. Implement corrective actions to enhance the fund's operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 3-5 of relative experience in private equity, banking, or a related field. Experience in loan administration desirable.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience with financial analyses including data analyses and business case development.

  • Knowledge of compliance requirements, loan documentation, and reporting standards, highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of consumer lending industry.

  • Excellent skills in quantitative analysis.

  • Ability to evaluate economic indicators and the cost/ benefit of credit transactions.

  • High level of organization to establish priorities, simultaneously work with multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Leadership, self-motivation, and business improvement drive.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish and English).

  • Proficiency in the use of the following applications: Word, Power Point, Excel,
