Roles & Responsibilities
Gather requirements, analysis, estimation, design, development and implementation of any new healthcare business requirements in Membership Systems.
Develops Java / J2EE (Java 1.8, JSP, JSF, PrimeFaces, JPA, EJB) programs, IBM Liberty Batch and Spring Batch programs, RESTFul Web Services program and SQL/DB2 programs to migrate the business logic from legacy system to the new enhanced Membership system.
Work with technology and product partners to design and develop reusable templates, components, batch programs and REST API's.
Meet with clients to identify current operating procedures to clarify program objectives and prepares high level technical specifications.
Work collaboratively with architecture staff to discuss designs implementations, and to establish and enforce coding standards and guidelines.
Expand unit testing automation suite capabilities by integrating tests into Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment pipeline. Involve in the Continuous Integration and Deployment for all the requirements.
Be hands-on to help solve and provide solutions to the complex problems.
Support System testing and user acceptance testing by providing timely resolutions to defects raised by the client testing team or business users.
Work along with Program Manager and Product Owner to arrive at roadmap for release schedules for project requirements.
Participate in all Agile ceremonies – Daily Standup, Backlog Grooming, Product Demo and Sprint Retrospective.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $88,300 to $109,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
