Senior Murex Tester

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Murex Tester with strong experience to join our team.

Job Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

 

Roles/Responsibilities (Day to Day candidate’s responsibilities)

·       Testing of MX.3 Interfaces, workflows module, Datamart module

·       Hands on experience of Murex testing suite MxTest.

·       Murex testing using MxTest.

·       Design of test-cases across different MX.3 versions for upgrades projects

·       Design of test-packages on Windows and execution on Windows and Linux servers

·       Responsibilities include Analysis of requirements enhancements design of test case suite.

·       Participate and support in integration testing user acceptance testing and deployment.

·       End to end ownership of tasks in cooperation with Business IT and Testing team.

·       Participate in discussions with Business teams and collaborating with cross functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

·       Must have bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science discipline required.

·       Strong understanding and experience of and interest in the financial markets

·       MxTest experience

·       Experienced in testing of MX.3 Interfaces, workflows module, Datamart module and its capabilities.

·       Good knowledge of Pre-Trade Rules, MxML Exchange

·       Good knowledge of Trade Repository

·       Good knowledge of Datamart, Dynamic Tables, feeders, extractions, processing scripts, Datamart viewer

·       Good understanding of Global Operating model

·       Good understanding of MX3.1 Trade structure, trade life cycle and events

·       Good understanding of Trade Validation and Compliance checks

·       Good domain knowledge of at least two asset classes including FI/MM, FXD, IRD, EQD

·       Good in SQL (Oracle / Sybase), XML, Unix commands and scripting

·       Must be self-motivated able to work independently.

·       Must be highly responsive to time critical support issues.

·       Ability to work in a high pressure fast moving and challenging environment.

·       Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are essential.

·       Comfortable liaising with people from all areas of the business - Developers QA Traders external Vendors etc.

Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
