The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and cloud infrastructure. Problem-solving is key with the ability to utilize creative and innovative thinking.
Rather than include the same old boring job description, here is a list of tasks the prospective employee may be asked to accomplish and / or attributes the candidate should possess.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application requirements for transformation and growth.
- Lead the architectural design and development efforts for application migration and enhancement.
- Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure PHP code with a focus on code quality and best practices.
- Working in an Agile / Scrum environment to deliver high quality software solutions
- Troubleshooting production issues and coordinating with the development team to streamline code deployment
- Analyzing code and communicating detailed reviews to development teams
- Collaborating with team members to improve the company's engineering tools, policy, procedures, and security
SOME MUST-HAVES :
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Extensive development knowledge (PHP)
- Knowledge of C# / .NET
- Experience with Laravel framework
- Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS)
- Experience successfully building production scalable software systems
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future

OTHER INFORMATION
The work hours will be approximately 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it.
We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required. Salary dependent upon experience.
