Role overview

This role is tailored to ensuring compliance with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS), with a focus on interactions between our PCI Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) and related internal and partner technology teams. In this role working with the Vulnerability Management Senior Manager, the Senior Security Specialist will play a significant role in different stages of the PCI Compliance for e-commerce websites and other in-scope platforms: starting from connecting with internal PCI group, website discoveries, scanning, risk analysis, reporting and collaborating with other groups to ensure issue are resolved within given timelines. You will work with technology and infrastructure leaders from across the LCL family of companies and key suppliers, partners, vendors, and run service providers.

What you’ll do

  • Handling the PCI module on vulnerability management and configuration tools
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the creation and retention of evidence artifacts necessary for demonstrating compliance
  • To support this mandate, ran security and threat intelligence service providers to develop, automate, maintain and evolve VM program and handle reporting structure of different categories of vulnerabilities based on its severity
  • Working with various groups, ensure vulnerabilities are detected and reported to groups as well as to ASV vendor
  • Attend various meetings to review the plans and guide the teams on remediation/solutions

What you Bring:

Experienced knowledge of

  • Vulnerability management tools, like Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable
  • Solid understanding of websites and the related vulnerabilities
  • Configuration tools like Cloud Prisma, Qualys Compliance module
  • Vulnerability scanning, web app scanning, policy compliance scanning, reporting, user administrator, Qualys agent
  • Vulnerability management triage process
  • Connect with different partners and define related risk
  • Generating incident tickets on Service Management system
  • Risk prioritization to communicate with collaborators

Working arrangements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Brampton, ON.
