Roles & Responsibilities
· Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including developers, testers, and business users. Also, communicate complex technical information clearly.
· Ability to coordinate across the different web agile teams for respective their projects and dependencies across the different components within release timelines.
· They are response for planning and releasing of the applications. They work closely with development leads/developer, ensure code quality as per standard and client process. They need to keep closely track on upcoming releases across different projects across different web teams and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to adapt to changes in the project scope.
· Ability in time management to be more productivity to use effectively and efficiently. It is important for release coordinators because they need to be able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Flexible to adapt client process or any change introduced, and also propose any better idea to improve on release management.
· Ability to learn new technology and skills based on project need.
· They need to have good debugging skills, problem solving, and resolving conflicts.
· They are response to merge the code to UAT and production environment by following client process (git merging, local unit testing, pull request, sanity check on respective environments, etc)
· They need to create properly release plan for UAT and production environment, and work with respective team and project manager to ensure the release is on track as per the release plan.
· Coordinate with business testers and respective team to ensure any bugs are fixed and repromoted to environment.
· Review the production release plan with respective team and work with release core team to get approved on the change request and be available during the deployment night for business validation on the application released.
· Willing to do production support on rotation bases and learn technologies based on client need.
Required Qualifications
· Must have Technical Skills : Hibernate , JPA, Spring MVC ,HTML 5 , JQuery, Core Java, SOAP Service, REST Service ,JSR ,Liferay Portal, Agile process
· Must be willing to learn new skills based on project requirement.
· Must be flexible with working hour to adjust client need.
· Domain Skills : Health Care
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $43,900 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
