The Talent Acquisition team is a key business partner to identify and attract top talent, develop hiring manager capabilities, and provide talent market data insights to build dream teams. We drive our recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers and hiring teams, to invite the best talent to join our Abarcan family.

As our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for hiring needs across the organization. You will work hand in hand with hiring managers to define key strategies for talent attraction, deliver positive candidate experience at every stage of our recruitment process and support onboarding activities.

The fundamentals of the job…

  • Collaborate with leadership to understand the organization’s long-term goals and develop Talent Acquisition strategies aligned with those objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting and scheduling interviews and negotiating offers.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, provide guidance, and ensure a compliant collaborative hiring process.
  • Maintain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience and effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Lead and mentor recruiters by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team’s success in meeting recruitment goals.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting Abarca’s values and culture to attract top talent.
  • Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) that align with overall business objectives.
  • Leverage recruitment technologies and systems to streamline recruitment process, enhance candidate experience, and improve efficiency.
  • Support the preboarding and onboarding process to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain a solid industry awareness in terms of hiring trends, competitive landscape, and recruiting challenges to provide solutions.
  • Provide input on continuous improvement initiatives for the overall Talent Acquisition strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, regulations, and internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate and perform other duties, as assigned, in other areas within and outside of the Talent Strategy team (e.g. Special projects)

What we expect of you

The bold requirements…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related fields (in lieu of a degree equivalent work experience may be considered).
  • 6+ years of experience within recruitment processes and full life-cycle recruitment.
  • Experience designing and implementing sourcing strategies.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders and senior cross-functional partners.
  • Experience translating data and analysis into strategic recruitment processes and recommendations.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
  • Experience with sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice to haves…

  • Experience with Social Media branding strategies.
  • ATS experience with Greenhouse.

Physical requirements…

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
