Business Development
- The role is focused on developing digital strategies into the Cognizant flagship accounts with the Analytics portfolio to create growth. This means you will have to do hands-on consulting in developing blueprints to deliver value with data.
Trusted Advisor
- You are combining the solutions and consultants’ function to act as trusted advisors and change agents for your customers in guiding them to capture the full value of their investments in data and analytics.
Customer Intimacy
You will be a master in two ways:
- Being able to translate the business requirements into future proof and efficient technical platforms and solutions.
- Interpreting external innovations, regulations, and developments, and identify their potential and/or impact on the business of their customers and their data and analytical strategy, organization and infrastructure.
In this position you will have the opportunity to present findings and share insights with multiple business leaders throughout the customer as well as the internal organization. Furthermore, the position is required to become pivotal in building a Benelux AIA sales community, that future-proofs the success of the department.

AIA Business Development
- Design and develop future-ready AI&A solutions for customers in the context of their digital strategy
Collaborate with customer, product vendors, other third-party providers and internal stakeholders in the strategic design process to translate business needs into analytical platform / custom solutions - Demonstrate technical & business expertise in modern AI, (Advanced-) analytics, Big data and associated technologies, data cloud platforms, data governance & quality
- Lead ideation, blueprint and implementation workshops and due diligence
- Be the customer expert on AIA innovations, trends, market developments, skills, and technologies.
AIA Sales Management
- Be a change agent and drive growth of revenue within all customer departments and teams on the AIA solutions.
- Lead and provide guidance for the specific account and growth plans regarding AIA solutions, making sure we meet business objectives, are future proof, and efficient.
- Provide advice on governance, organization and processes that make AIA successful within the context of the specific customer.
- Maintain, support, and enhance the Artificial Intelligence & Analytics customer strategy.
Your skills and experience
· 15+ years of relevant experience
· Good knowledge and experience with Lifesciences/Pharma clients - as a direct employee or as a partner/vendor
· Good understanding of overall pharma business, relevant processes and data (eg IQVIA data)
· Good experience with and in-depth understanding of AIA topics - experienced in Datawarehousing, Business Intelligence & data analytics. If possible, knowledge in data science/ML will be a plus but not a must have
· Experienced in solution selling, pre-sales and large deal lifecycles (
· Experienced in handling a portfolio of accounts, responsible for account planning and revenue growth
· Excellent communication, presentation and messaging skills
· Coordination skills with multiple teams across offshore, onsite and nearshore locations to create solution pitches
· Dutch and/or French language skills will be good to have, but not must have
