Sr. Associate - Devops Lead

Come join our team for an excellent role! We are looking for a DevOps Lead with strong Jenkins technology for our Life Science project.

 

Summary:This role requires technical expertise with strong leadership and communication skills to drive collaboration and innovation within the organization. With experience in the Telecom domain and expertise in Service Activation and Service Provisioning. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient and scalable solutions for field and tech area. Your knowledge and technical leadership will contribute to the successful delivery of exceptional customer experiences.

Must have skill:

·       Should have experience in Jenkins, Bitbucket, Confluence, GIT Hub, Docker, Groovy, Linux, AWS

·       Experience inimplementing and managing automation tools for DevOps

·       Should have knowledge in Customization through Groovy, Python

·       Should have knowledge in Kubernetes.

·       Good Communication and soft skills

 

Good to have:

·       Experience working in DevOps Implementation

·       Experience working complex environment.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Collaboration: Facilitating communication and collaboration between development and operations team to enhance efficiency and cohesion.

·       Automation: Implementing and managing automation tools for continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

·       Pipeline management: Designing and optimising software delivery pipelines to ensure smooth and rapid application deployment.

·       Infrastructure Management: Overseeing infrastructure provisioning, configuration, monitoring to enhance reliability, scalability and performance.

·       Release Management: Co-ordinating and managing software releases ensuring a balance between speed and stability.

·       Monitoring and Logging: Implementing monitoring solutions and logging practices to detect and troubleshoot issues aiming for proactive problem resolution.

·       Security: Collaborating with security teams to integrate security measures into development  and deployment processes.

·       Environment Management: Ensuring consistency and efficiency in development, testing and production environment.

·       Training and Mentorship: Providing guidance training and mentorship to team members to foster a strong Devops culture.

·       Continuous Improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement regularly evaluating and enhancing process and tools.

·       Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risk associated with the deployment on the operations of software systems.

·       Documentation: maintaining through documentation for process configuration and changes to facilitate knowledge sharing problem resolution: addressing and resolving technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and disruption

The hourly rate for this position is between $60 – $85 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
