Sr. AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: Hartford, CT, USA (hybrid)

Fulltime position

 

We are looking for Sr. AWS Cloud Engineerfor an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

·       Assess the existing application stack and define target AWS Infrastructure design for the applications to migrate to AWS.

·       Strong in Core AWS Services like Compute, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch/CloudTrail and similar services.

·       Good Understanding of DR Setup, High-Availability and Security & Networking.

·       Ability to write Infra as A Code using Terraform & implement any change quest using Terraform.

·       Hands-On experience in configuring Cloud Monitoring & Logging (Observability)– Metrics, Dashboard and any 3rd party tolls.

·       Required Troubleshooting skills in AWS Services.

·       Ability to create CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and deploy the infrastructure stack across different environments.

·       Good to have Python and Shell Scripts hands-on experience.

 

Qualification and experience required:

·       8 Years in Cloud/Infra.

·       4-5 Years of relevant Hands-On Experience in AWS Services highlighted.

·       2-3 Years Hands-On in Terraform including Troubleshooting.

·       1 Year Jenkins CI/CD pipeline creation.

 

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[80,000 – 115,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

 

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
