Role and Responsibilities:
- Seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 11-13 years of experience in Data Science Machine Learning and PySpark.
- Nice to have experience in PL/SQL and 3NF data modeling.
- As a Technical Lead you will be responsible for leading a team of developers providing technical guidance and expertise in the areas of Data Science Machine Learning and PySpark.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable solutions and ensure the quality and performance of the deliverables.
- Additionally you will contribute to the development of best practices and mentor junior team members.
- Data Scientist who is aware of the algorithms and we can use his expertise in using Azure OpenAI and also open to experimenting with other LLM Models to create feasibility of the best fit model.
- Pull data from first and third party data sourcesstitchand wrangle it for advanced analytics activities.
- Leverage data best practices and tools by collaborating with analytics translatorData Scientistand cloud engineer.
- Research first and third-party data sources to enable access and ensure availability of relevant data sources for those who need it.
- Provide input to cloud engineer for the design and implementation of data management and/or architecture solutions.
- Partner with cloud engineer and ML engineer to develop and evolve the concept of data ops.
- Designimplementand deploy data loaders to load data into the Engineering Sandbox.
- Assist in pullingfilteringtaggingjoiningparsingand normalizing data sets for use.
- Work with the analytics translatordata quality analystand IT to resolve data quality issues.
- Experience in designing and implementing large scale data loading manipulation processing analysis and exploration solutions.
- Deep technical expertise with pulling and massaging data understanding of first/third party data.
- Experience in R Python Modeling Big Data etc. with focus on AI/ML techniques Advanced SQL skills and understanding of data management principles and processes.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[120,000-$125,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
