As a Backend Developer, you will work with a focus on technical excellence. Our backend is developed using Node, and our infrastructure is hosted on AWS.
We rely on PostgreSQL as our database, and we employ a microservices architecture.
We highly value candidates with startup experience and a track record of handling similar growth within their teams. We are seeking curious individuals who are passionate about technical aspects, eager to suggest improvements, and willing to take ownership of our systems.
Your Responsibilities :
- Collaborate on problem-solving and feature ideas with various teams while specifying requirements with a focus on scalability, business impact, and speed.
- Develop scalable systems using microservices in Node.js (or an alternative solution when warranted).
- Write clear, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code that team members can easily understand.
- Review and oversee Pull Requests (PRs) and uphold code quality and scalability.
- Propose system enhancements, always with the objective of improving efficiency, cost savings, addressing scalability issues, or creating new revenue streams.
