The Role:
Cognizant is seeking an innovative Product Owner for the use of global clients. As a member of our team, you will build innovative that powers modern business. Develop and maintain the product vision and roadmap: This includes defining the long-term goals for the product and outlining the steps that will be taken to achieve those goals.
Prioritize the product backlog: The backlog is a list of all the features that are planned for the product. The Product Owner is responsible for prioritizing these features based on their value to the business and the users.
Write user stories and acceptance criteria: User stories are short descriptions of features from the user's perspective. Acceptance criteria are the conditions that must be met for a feature to be considered complete.
Work with the development team to estimate the effort required for each feature: This helps to ensure that the team is working on the most important features and that they are able to deliver them on time.
Track the progress of the development team and address any roadblocks: The Product Owner is responsible for keeping the team on track and ensuring that they are meeting their deadlines.
Collect and analyze user feedback: The Product Owner should always be looking for ways to improve the product. They should collect feedback from users and use it to inform future decisions.
Connect with team members: The Product Owner is responsible for keeping stakeholders up-to-date on the progress of the product. This includes providing regular reports and presentations.
Skills and Qualifications for an IT Product Owner:
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with data engineering development
Experience in working on data and BI technologies including AWS cloud, Informatica, Power BI etc.
Passion for technology and innovation
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[120,000 – 135,000 USD] depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
