Summary of Position

The Ssr. / Sr.Identity and Access Management Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining IAM solutions, designing access controls, and managing user identities.

They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure access and compliance with industry best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Implement IAM solutions to manage user identities, access controls, and entitlements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into IAM design specifications.

Maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and compliance requirements.

Implement solutions to automate user onboarding and offboarding

Implement solutions for privileged Access Management

Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues, working closely with the Global Support Desk and other relevant stakeholders

Develop documentation to support ongoing IAM, privileged Access Management, IGA systems operations and maintenance

Respond to periodic access review requests and audits to ensure adherence to IAM policies and identify any security vulnerabilities.

Stay up to date with the latest IAM technologies, trends, and industry standards, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate IAM solutions with other systems and applications.

Participate in incident response activities related to IAM and contribute to root cause analysis and remediation efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications Expected for Position

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Prior experience with SailPoint including application design, configuration, integration, and deployment

Strong knowledge of identity management principles, access controls, and authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos).

Proficiency in designing and implementing IAM solutions in Entra and SailPoint

Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation and integration purposes.

Experience with Cloud computing best practices as it relates to IAM security.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related issues.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with creating and maintaining documentation.

Candidate must speak English in addition to any other languages.

Ability to be self-sufficient and handle production issues.

Possesses many areas of expertise and is willing to learn about new technologies.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Creative, can think outside of the box, and ask for help when required.

Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter.

Demonstrated a willingness to learn and develop career initiatives

Experience working with Agile software development teams and Agile development tools such as JIRA, Confluence

Experience working with geographically distributed and remote teams

Comfortable working independently and communicating through multiple levels in the organization
