YOUR NEW ROLE:

The Standards and Practices Reviewer screens and rates content scheduled to air on WBD networks and HBO Max to ensure compliance with the Legal requirements on the region (Latam). They also keep the ratings information updated on the databases for reporting and compliance purposes and create editing guidelines to generate edited versions to align content to legal requirements and/or to network standards. As an additional task, they compile artistic information and draft or edit content synopses for movies and series according to specific style guides and requirements.

YOUR ROLE ACOUNTABILITIES:

  • Screen and rate the titles assigned from the monthly list of premieres.
  • Draft editing guidelines for Program Edit to create edited versions if needed.
  • Upload, review and update ratings information of the assigned titles / networks.
  • Be the point of contact for ratings and content compliance for Media, Log and Programming for the assigned networks.
  • Draft, edit and/or translate content synopses and compile artistic information for HBO Max premieres.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Proficient in at least two of the three languages needed for the region (Spanish, Portuguese or English), with strong writing skills.
  • Proven experience with the Office suite.
  • Analytical thinking, ability to focus, prioritize and multitask, and high attention to detail.

Prefered:

  • Formal training in translation.
  • Familiar with cinematic language and conventions.
  • Avid consumer of movies and series.
