This role manage the design and implementation of a comprehensive workforce planning system and process which can provide accurate and timely workforce planning information (manning numbers and skills required) to the business to inform improved decision making on future resource requirements.
Manage a HR function that executes strategy, programs, systems and processes that strongly contribute to the organization meeting its overall business objectives.
The ideal candidate must have :
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field
- Knowledge of contemporary HR practices
- Highly developed leadership skills
- Demonstrable analytical and conceptual skills to enable the incumbent to develop options and strategies to address complex organizational issues, and to understand complex environmental and workforce issues
- Demonstrable consultation, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence and negotiate with senior management and stakeholders on strategic business issues
- Ability to present confidently and effectively to groups, and to facilitate training sessions
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office and HR information systems
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :
- Manage the design and implementation of a comprehensive workforce planning system and process which can provide accurate and timely workforce planning information (manning numbers and skills required) to the business to inform improved decision making on future resource requirements
- Manage IR / ER practice and compliance across the business through the provisions of expert advice and delivering education on Employment Legislation, HR policy, awards, enterprise agreements, employment contracts, and employee relations activities to ensure effective risk management.
Manage any industrial disputes or Fair Work claims in accordance with governance arrangements approved by the Executive.
- Manage the Organization Development program across the business to ensure quality advice and support is provided on organization structure, position description drafting, performance and talent management across the business
- Contribute to the Human Capital strategy, planning and budgeting processes for the business and ensure the effective implementation of the HR programs within the People & Culture Strategy
- Provide analysis for the HR monthly report to ensure the accurate and timely data to inform decision making
- Lead, coach and develop the team by setting clear expectations, regular communications, treating one another with respect, to develop a positive, safe working environment
