From researching progressive systems solutions to evaluating their impacts, the ideal candidate will be a detailed planner, expert communicator, and top-notch analyst. This person should also be wholly committed to the discovery and development of innovative solutions in an ever-changing digital landscape. 

·       IT Business Analyst background with 8+ years’ experience around business analysis

·       Working with Payments (Swift - MT, MX messages, ACH - NACHA formats) & Securities messages

·       Exposure to FinTech, Compliance, familiarity with Capital Markets, Securities industry and Payments  

·       Experience working in Agile projects.

·       Should be Apt in Agile, capturing requirements in agile format, adapts easily to different initiatives, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

• Gather detailed, specific, accurate, unambiguous business requirements.

• Ensure Business analysis, Impact analysis, Gap analysis and System analysis are done to a high standard on defined projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Liaise with business and tech team to identify, document and analyze business requirements.

• Work with other business analysts on firm wide initiatives and participate in the Front to Back User testing / regression testing. Conducting walkthrough for IT BA, Tech team.

• Assist with production support activities, when necessary, to help identify and resolve escalated production issues.

Essential Competencies:

• Consultant with excellent business knowledge with hand-on experience of conducting workshops with business, operations and technology stakeholders to author requirement specifications, user stories and impact assessment.

• Experience/Exposure to Financial Crimes Compliance - such as AML, Alert Investigations, Fraud Investigations, Knowledge with Actimize or any other AML products

• Experience in OFAC, CDD, KYC, Alert Investigations, Knowledge in any OFAC and CDD related products (Fircosoft, Lexis Nexis, Actimize Actone etc)

• Experience/Exposure to Industry regulatory environment, Compliance laws and  regulations , e-communications surveillance,  Knowledge with Behavox or any other E-com surveillance products in the market.

• Experience of executing engagements in large cross functional technology heavy initiatives.

• Good communication skills and stakeholder management and an ability to take ownership and independently deliver tasks.

• Effective stakeholder management, experience in facing senior business stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and proven ability to work with little supervision.

• Proven ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner (written and verbal)
