Technical Account Manager - Process Automation

The Technical Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty for their assigned accounts.

The Technical Account Manager ensures the customer receives exceptional service that exceeds their expectations. Consulting on technical solutions and evaluation of client engineering to promote the sale of solutions.

Business Manager - Operations&Portfolio

Your responsibilities

  • Assists customers’ technical requests and engage with colleagues to take care of any technical issues.
  • Leveraging familiarity with their assigned accounts, supports the customer in a proactive fashion by anticipating the customer’s needs.
  • Works as a liaison between the customer and various ABB departments in delivery of support and to fulfill contract obligations.
  • Coordinates resources within ABB and breaks down any barriers impeding progress.
  • Collaborates with the Account Managers (sales) and provides technical support and guidance to Proposals Engineers to timely provide offers responding to customer needs and to proactively identify contract growth opportunities leveraging the full breath of ABB service portfolio.
  • Responsible for identifying service and system sales opportunities for expanding ABB’s value to the customer, and for growing the service contracts at their assigned customers.
  • Ensures that plant fleet under service agreement receives evolution plans and life cycle reports supported by technology segment experts.
  • Manages Service Contracts deliverables, on time delivery and customers’ requirements as well as financial KPI’s, and keeps track of performance metrics and communicate progress to internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Responsible for 100% renewal of service contracts at their assigned accounts.
  • Accountable for measuring, reporting, and presenting the value of the services delivered to key customer stake holders which range from maintenance managers to plant managers.

Your background

  • Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineer, Electronic, Automation or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in similar positions working with electrical control systems and automation systems.
  • Knowledge in Programming industrial controllers and SCADA. Selection, sizing, and configuration of electrical equipment for the industry.
  • Previous experience in technical and / or project management.
  • Builds network - internally and externally - for exchange of information.
  • Conducts risk and opportunity assessments for consulting assignments.
  • Identifies opportunities for repeat and new consulting business.
  • Team management.
  • Availability to travel locally and abroad.
  • Advanced English level.
