Your responsibilities:
- Validation Testing of a distributed software system
- Technical Software Integration in internal and customer projects
- Definition of Validation Points
- Planning, creation and execution of validation test cases to ensure fulfillment of customer
- needs
- Performance Testing, Load/Stress Testing as well Security Testing
- API Testing using Postman or similar tools
- Ensures that the customer perspective is taken into consideration during the testing process
- and that the software meets their expectations
- Planning and realization of test automation for repetitive test areas
- Collaboration with development teams
- Root cause analysis and defect documentation
- Verification of defects and pro-active engagement in finding of solutions
- Release planning and alignment of test plans with the development team
Your profile:
- degree (preferably a Master) in system engineering, software architecture, computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, telematics or similar
- ISTQB Advanced Level Agile Tester certificate, with at least 5 years of experience in realm of Test Automation
- Strong C#/.NET development experience and excellent background in writing good system test cases/test specifications using Cucumber/Gherkin syntax.
- Database knowledge and SQL (Oracle, SQLite); creation of documentation like release notes and installation manuals; Windows and Linux operating systems
- Strong Experience in Linux and Linux shell scripting and ability to investigate and troubleshoot issues independently
- Willingness to interface in a central role with different teams
- Experience with writing formal test plans and test specifications
- Experience with DevOps frameworks & tooling is a plus: Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in usability tests is a plus
- Ideally experience in SQL scripting as well
- Good software development skills, and have experience with Jira, Confluence, Xray, Jenkins CI, Git and Azure
- Multitask person and prioritize work to fulfill project scope, budget and deadlines
- Mindset for efficiency, productivity and creativity
- Social competence and good communication skills
- Very good knowledge in oral and written English skills, German is a plus
