DirecciónThe Company is seeking a Vice President forUniversity Development & Alumni Engagement / CEO of the Cal Poly Foundation to lead the strategic planning, management, and execution of all business operations related to an integrated University Development program.
This role involves serving as the CEO of a 501(c)(3) public benefit non-profit corporation, working closely with the Foundation Board, and advancing fundraising activities in alignment with the university's mission and vision.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, setting clear goals, ensuring compliance, and fostering Alumni Engagement.
They will also carry a personal portfolio of donors, develop a corporate giving strategy, and play a central role in enhancing the institution's visibility and fundraising capabilities.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business, communications, public relations, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in development, advancement, or fundraising within a large, multi-unit organization.
Key qualifications include a thorough knowledge of fundraising principles, diversity and inclusivity, experience in organizational development and change management, and financial acumen.
The role requires the ability to translate future trends into effective strategies, manage budgets, and advocate for resource allocation.
