About the Role:
Leads the implementation of a sustainable Patient Access strategy at a local (CPO) level. Collects and analyze data to generate insights for Patient Access submissions that jointly create value for customers, patients and Novartis.
Help Novartis’ brand team in the implementation of the defined brand and go-to-market strategy supporting the development of tactical plans and projects to position the product and Novartis with the relevant stakeholders.
Main responsibilities
Develop and lead projects to submit patient access dossiers to the relevant stakeholders applying high standards of operational excellence.
Identify and share with the team early relevant input into local product development decisions.
Develop relevant Business Cases providing analytical rationale.
Maintains and update all relevant P&R tools and systems.
Creates insightful reports that translate the outputs of analysis of relevant data on pricing and reimbursement strategy of Novartis and competitor products into impactful business recommendations.
Help in the identification of key stakeholders for the brand and go-to-market-model helping to develop a stakeholders map.
Builds and leverages strong networks and relationships with key customers, key opinion leaders and individual and institutional key decision makers, to optimize the positioning and messaging of Novartis products and facilitate the co-creation of value propositions with customers.
Leads the local input to both global and local Pricing
Adapts Global Healthcare Economics models to accurately reflect local environments
Support the different stages in the partnerships or interactions with the health care systems
Help in the development of the brand tactical plan and promotional campaigns within marketing budgets and in line with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct guidelines.
Support in the development of market research programs & market insights generation for the responsible brand and monitors /anticipates market evolution.
Help with the execution, monitoring, and analysis of the agreed tactical plans to ensure the growth of the brand(s).
Help to monitor the evolution of the business and brand objectives.
Develop insightful local analysis tools to support data-driven decision making for the brand and the specific go-to-market model
Help generate at local level the commercial communication strategy in agreement with the team and collaborate in the development of related omnichannel-materials
Generation of dashboards to follow KPIs relevant to the position
Help to identify area market insights and opportunities via customer interactions.

Essential Requirements
Education: University degree (economics, business degree, engineer or life science related)
Languages: English – Intermediate/Advanced
Experience: At least 2-3 years previous experience in areas such as commercial, or market access, or marketing, or product management in the health care industry.
Experience with reimbursement dossier compilation. Ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific and economic topics (desirable).
Understanding of National Health Care system, regulatory environment of drug P&R and Listing processes
Experience with customer and stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrate strong strategic analytical skill
Strong negotiation and tactical analytical skills
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Ability to effectively collaborate and influence with cross functions.
