Cognizant, a Fortune 200 corporation, is looking for Customer Service Representatives to lead the daily operations of a multi-disciplinary. The candidate must come with experience in documentation research and retaining system information.

This position requires individuals to perform the following duties and work as part of a team:

  • With the goal of first call resolution, the Agent will address the needs of inbound callers according to the established call flows and work processes as supplied by the client and in accordance with accepted coverage guidelines, ensuring all mandated government and state regulations are consistently met.
  • Agents are required to check email accounts daily and stay up to date on call handling resources through continual document review and completion of mandated knowledge checks as assigned.
  • Agents will live-document all caller interactions in accordance with Quality Assurance Guidelines and will maintain an average monthly rating as defined for the site.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and willingness to learn, adapt and interact with individuals who may be angry, frustrated or calling in to complain while helping to ease the abrasion between the member and the plan.
  • Be in attendance for entire shift and implement to scheduled times to be on inbound calls, logged off of inbounds, but available to take critical issues while answering questions in chat, or focusing on chat questions during their scheduled times.
  • High level of communication ability is required to assist team and lead by taking supervisor customer concern and kudos calls from floor agents while maintaining the data on an electronic shared drive.
  • Able to ask clarifying probing questions and quickly locate document resources in order to provide adept and confident delivery of continually accurate information.
  • Able to lead team chat and maintain daily objectives if asked while Team Lead/Manager is out of office or temporarily unavailable.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years Customer Service Experience- preferred
  • 2-3 years Healthcare or Industry Certificate- preferred
  • Accelerated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel- required
  • Proven track record to multi-task, lead and generate efficiency action within team.
  • Proven experience in mentoring staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
