As a Finance Director for GSK Colombia you will be responsible to provide strategic & financial leadership to the commercial organisation.
We are launching several new products in all therapy areas including newly established Oncology and the Finance Director plays a critical role in the success of the new product launches & as well as the Omnichannel / go to market model transformation of the existing portfolio that creates the funds and resources to support the new product launches.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following :
- 3rd party relationships with pension funds, local banks, customers, HMO', distributors, tax authorities
- Legal Entity Finance director
- Provide strategic leadership to the GM and LT of Colombia, drive strategic business plan
- Performance and risk management to deliver targets on sales, profit, working capital and headcount
- Lead annual financial planning process including Plan, FC1, FLIP, and GEM content / submissions
- Drive integrity, transparency, and reliability of financial information in financial plan, MPR & STPs
- Identify and deliver opportunities to drive sales and profit growth, margin expansion and ensure resources are allocated accordingly
- Establish and maintain effective value add service from the extended One Finance teams
- Continue to drive efficiencies in marketed portfolio; process; nr legal entities / cost centres
- Lead and Develop Finance team & drive GSK culture
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree and / or professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA) with good understanding of accounting standards and principles
- Financial leadership experience at various levels in GSK or similar global organization with demonstrated ability to provide effective financial management and leadership
- Direct experience with financial software and systems
- Excellent Spanish, English written & spoken
- Experience leading teams
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience managing or working with a global team and global stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and compare complex data from multiple sources
- Ability to challenge senior leaders on assumptions and decisions
- Excellent knowledge of the products, business unit, organization, and industry
- MBA (with heavy finance components) or equivalent experience
- Effective knowledge of all accounting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Delivering on value opportunities while balancing risk and opportunities (Stewardship & Governance)
- Developing highly effective working relationships and managing key stakeholders to achieve the partnership status with your business
