Job Summary

Cognizant is looking for a Java Full stack Leadwith at least 10+ years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies. Design, implement and maintain Java-based applications that can be high-volume and low-latency.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.  Someone that values the “team” and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

 

Location: Des Moines, IA  (Hybrid)

Work Authorization: You should be legally eligible to work for any employer in the US without the need for a sponsorship now or in the future.

 

 

Responsibilities:          

• At least 10+ years of IT experience with hands-on using Node with Typescript (Node 16 and above), Express JS, JSON includes advanced JavaScript (ES5 or ES6) and NPM Modules.

• •Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.

• •The profile should be a strong Node with Typescript and AWS developer with good hands-on experience in Advance Scripting stack i.e. JavaScript, Typescript, JQuery, Express JS, Bootstrap JS,  Node JS, NPM, JSON, Ajax, RESTful API, Web/Application Servers, Database application layers with noted databases i.e. Oracle/DB2/MySQL/Mango DB etc.

• •Experience in using REST API specification tools to document i.e. Swagger, Insomnia.

• •Good Hand-on experience with code repository tools such as TFS, GIT, etc.

• •Exposure to Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

• •Good hands-on experience using JavaScript code quality tool ES Lint.

• •Experience in writing Node unit test cases (Mocha).

• Hands-on Experience with AWS Services are MUST

• •Should have a good exposure to use IDE tools Visual Source Code, Eclipse or other relevant industry standard IDEs.

• Good hands-on experience in debugging Node code for any issues during SIT /Prod Validation.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Should be a strong Node with Typescript.

• AWS developer with good hands-on experience in Advance Scripting stack.

• JavaScript, Typescript, JQuery, Express JS, Bootstrap JS,  NPM, JSON, Ajax

• RESTful API, Web/Application Servers

• Database application layers with noted databases i.e. Oracle/DB2/MySQL/Mango DB etc. Hands-on experience with AWS Services (Lambda, ECS, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch, AWS Batch, AWS SDK, AWS CDK etc.
