About Cognizant’s IoT Practice:
Cognizant plays a key role in our customers’ Field Service Management (FSM) needs across a spectrum of industries including energy & utilities, insurance, technology, automotive and logistics. As a key area of growth for the company, our FSM relationships are rapidly expanding in both customer and partner arenas. As asset management, grid modernization, sustainability and other trends drive an inflection point in the industry, Cognizant is taking advantage of the opportunity and looking for an Offering Leader to help drive the progress.
Purpose of the Role:
Hold the overall global responsibility of defining and building FSM service offerings.
Maintain an offering strategy and value proposition aligned to market trends, customer needs, and practice strategy.
Work closely with clients, sales teams, consulting teams, and SMEs to position and win new business.
Collaborate with partners and alliances team to bundle partner products / solutions as part of the offering.
Drive marketing team in packaging the offering for internal and external consumption.
Work closely with delivery teams to identify expansion opportunities and identify potential software productivity tools to increase efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
Global Go to Market Leader for FSM Solutions
Driving results for the business by growing a pipeline and supporting the flow of opportunities
through sales and into delivery with responsibility for total contract value (TCV) and revenue.
Travel and participate in client presentations and partner events.
Understand trends in the evolving technology landscape, customer buying patterns, marketplace shifts, etc.
Understand business needs, pressure points, trouble areas from a customer vertical perspective for developing specific solutions.
Contribute to the identification of new opportunities and align new offerings to customer segments.
Contribute to the development of a business case and GTM plan for new offerings.
Additional Responsibilities
Help design and support execution of thought leadership and marketing activities to generate demand.
Work directly with clients across both a pre-sales and billable capacity to drive solutioning, ensure successful engagement starts, and support delivery teams in generating lasting value.
Collaborate with sales team to identify, qualify, shape, and capture new deals.
Ensure proposals and RFP responses are competitive and differentiated Guide delivery teams to architect and design solutions on client engagements to ensure they meet business needs
Domain Skills
10+ years of leadership experience in a services or consulting capacity, working closely with senior client executives.
10+ years of industry experience in FSM markets and technologies.
Strong relationships and credibility within at least one of the following industry verticals: Energy & Utilities industry (Oil & Gas, Power, Electric, or Water) Manufacturing, Transportation & Logistics, Retail or Telecom
Experience with one or more FSM vendors such as: IFS/Clevest, Oracle/OFS, Salesforce/Clik/FSL, PTC, ServiceMax.
Strong analytical skills with ability to review relevant data and use it to reach informed conclusions.
Acknowledged thought leader with ability and desire to speak in small and large groups, and at conferences.
Effective communicator in technical as well as C-level discussions.
Master’s degree in business or technology desired or equivalent combination of degree and experience.
Exceptionally curious and continuously learning especially in the areas of Field Service, Asset Management, and Work Management.
Technical Skills
Expertise on the effective use of FSM technologies in solving business problems.
Technology transformation advisor for key clients & prospects.
Experience in positioning and solutioning FSM into larger systems of systems with integrations across other systems such as EAM, GIS, ERP, CRM, PLM, SLM, or IOT.
Problem solving, solution architecture and/or critical thinking skills.
Experience leading the scale out of a major product or application
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 to $180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
