Role Overview:
Join our diverse team as a Guidewire PolicyCenter developers and deliver to the forefront landscape of insurance technology. As a Guidewire PolicyCenter Lead Product Consultant, you'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter. You will have the opportunity to work closely with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Your responsibilities will involve applying your expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration, integration, and customization to streamline insurance processes, enhance system functionalities, and ensure a flawless user experience. What You'll Do:
- Participate in business requirements and functional requirements review meetings in crafting and formulating of technical specifications.
- Analyze the requirements for implementing them using Guidewire either by using Out-of-the-Box solutions in Guidewire platform or providing custom solution.
- Design, Develop and Unit Test Guidewire Configurations and customizations as per requirements using GOSU – Guidewire scripting language.
- Implement Guidewire Integration plugins for facilitating data exchange with vendor partners and internal systems.
- Will be doing design product feasibility studies coordinating with vendors and multiple tracks.
- Review code built by the developers based on requirements; Participate in peer design reviews.
- Perform defect triage and defect fixes during System Testing, End to End Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Ensure non-functional, security, regulatory and compliance requirements are met for all development and improvement activities.
- Review Offshore team's work and coordinate to deliver the project on time.
What You Bring to the Role:
- Proficient in using Guidewire Policy Center for insurance policy management, demonstrating its functionalities and configurations effectively.
- Guidewire PolicyCenter version 10.
- Hands-on experience on design product feasibility studies coordinating with vendors and multiple tracks.
- Hands-on experience with leading integration.
- Skilled in Gosu and Gosu Plugins for customization, improving system capabilities, and ensuring seamless integration within the Guidewire environment.
- Experienced in configuring screens within Guidewire Policy Center to optimize user experience and align with business requirements.
- Experienced in Jira and Canada specific integration.
- Proven command of Java/JEE programming language for robust and scalable software development within the Guidewire ecosystem.
- Experienced in working within Agile environments, ensuring adaptability, collaboration, and iterative development to meet evolving business needs efficiently.
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control, collaborating, and running code repositories effectively, ensuring streamlined development processes and codebase integrity.

Working arrangements
We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, On, Canada.
