DirecciónThe HR Leader role is a senior role and leads HR across the Northern Europe Region, This includes: Belgium, Netherlands and the Nordics. The Northern Europe business has nearly 2500 employees and our HR team is currently 15 employees.
The appointed HR leader will act as a key interface between Northern Europe Region business leadership and HR, translating between business and HR strategy objectives. Support execution of HR activities by providing local HR support from a team of HR generalists while leveraging centres of excellence for specialist support.
The role reports to the VP HR Global Growth Markets (GGM) and will be part of the GGM HR Leadership Team. The role also be a key member of the Northern Europe Leadership Team and will act as the HR Business Partner and trusted advisor to the that group.
Translate Region specific business needs
- Translate BU strategy to HR strategy at the level, working with business leadership to identify people priorities and partnering with COEs on design of key programs and in country HR operations
- Advocate for/embed enterprise people objectives within Northern Region, making it a management norm
- Coordinate the relationship between the HR Function and the business unit, synthesizing HR inputs (e.g., from COEs, SS) to translate to business leaders through dotted line reporting relationships
- Serve as active partner to Northern Europe region leadership team & build relations with local trade unions to drive positive outcomes
- Monitor legal requirements in Northern Europe Region and raise country specific customisations to HR policies that are needed (e.g., collaboration with work
- Lead the regional Graduate / Apprenticeship Program
Coordinate the HR approach for the Region
- Provide regular input and feedback to shared services and centers of excellence regarding impact of HR programs on the business unit, especially as it relates to local regulations, M&A integrations, and local talent markets
- Build relationships and work closely with TAG (recruiting), TSC, and Academy where appropriate
- Coordinate implementation of new HR programs, policies and technological changes
Develop the Regional team
- Demonstrate and champion expected leadership behaviors
- Implement Cognizant best practices for recruiting, retaining and developing talent in the Northern Europe HR Team including support for rotational program where applicable
- Responsible for planning, hiring, upskilling and managing succession for team personnel
