Cognizant Digital Engineering practice is looking to hire a Java/J2EE Full Stack Technical Lead / Architectwith solid experience to grow with our team. Location:Pleasanton, CA (Onsite)
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
· Full Stack Solution Architect responsible for designing distributed Web Applications with multiple Interfaces.
· End to End Solution design using Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA/SQL, Microservices, Design Patterns.
· 10+ years of experience on Java based Web application design and development with proficient knowledge on Frontend technologies Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, and Node JS.
· Should be able to understand the complex business requirements and break them into simpler modules which implementation teams can consume.
· Required Skills Technical Skills - Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA/SQL, Microservices, Design Patterns, Domain Skills - Healthcare
· Shift Day 9 TO 6
· Roles & Responsibilities
o Come up with solution options for any given business problem and a hypothesis around every option.
o Create Technical Documentation like SAD, Interface document, Service Component Diagram, Data Models.
o Should be able to work with Technical Implementation and help them implement the solution.
o Cloud Platform, PaaS service implementation details and Event based Architecture.
o Hands on capability to create a Prototype.
o Work with Client teams to establish the coding standards.
· Communicate the project team about status of technical implementation /solution design.
· Work with stake holders and find the prototype for their need and drive the solution approach.
Key Qualifications:
· 10+ years of solid experience in designing and developing distributed, high performance, scalable solutions.
· Skill set: Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, JPA/SQL, Microservices, Design Patterns, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, POSTMAN, Kubernetes, Docker, Angular, NodeJS
· Good experience with AWS or Azure cloud native development
· Hands-on experience with cloud application monitoring, observability, Health Checks, log analysis and troubleshooting the issues (application exceptions/ errors, performance, downtime, etc.)
· Hands-on is must on migrating the applications from on-premises to PCF or AWS or Azure. Real time experience is must instead of theoretical knowledge.
· Hands on experience with agile methodology
· Good communication skills.
· Health care domain is added advantage.
· Added advantage if the candidate has onshore – offshore model / must have interest to work on shore offshore model.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 – 110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
