Lead Data Engineer (Hybrid))

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

• Craft and deliver a complete application.
• Responsible for contributing to architecture guidelines, standards, and patterns.
• Ability to lead multiple concurrent tasks and projects required.
• Ability to work effectively with customer business and project teams, management, and vendors with minimal direction required.
• Work as a member of a team, as well as individual contributor as required.
• Understand of SCRUM/Agile methodology.
• Exposure to a broad range of project types, including new development, improvements.

 

Qualifications

• Lead Engineer with experience in modern data technologies such as big data (Spark, Hadoop), Kafka & AWS cloud skills.
• Silk set includes Java, J2EE, Spark, Kafka, AWS glue, AWS Redshift and Hadoop
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Healthcare domain.

 

 

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $52K – 136K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
