The Lead Procurement Specialist will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. They will strive to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. In this role, they will be responsible for sourcing for the flowspools commodity.
As a Lead Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:
Defining supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels for flowspools.
- Leading negotiations and allocating needs to specific suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement
- Evaluating embedded costs/spend as well as direct buying
- Acting as a point of contact for procurement and engineering teams, providing insight the broader picture to the team
- Contributing to the overall procurement strategy for the business.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Be Degree educated with established industry experience working as a Technical Buyer or Procurement Specialist.
Have considerable experience working in a manufacturing business within a procurement, buyin or Sourcing capacity
Possess technical acumen and be able to communicate directly with engineering teams
Have Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal and leadership skills.
