Position Summary

With limited supervision, the Account Manager will support a variety of projects regardingonline and offline advertising campaigns and student recruitment initiatives for the Academies at National University. This role is key insupporting both regional and state-wide marketing campaigns and leading marketing projects both planned and ad hoc. The Account Manager willprovide marketing and administrative support to the Account Services team. This position reports to the Account Director overseeing theAcademies at National University.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages day-to-day projects from inception tocompletion including planning, resources, coordinating meetings and documentation.

  • Partners with the account team members todefine the project scope and requirements.

  • Creates, communicates, and manages project schedules, budgets, andspecifications.

  • Communicates and documents special project status and strategic recommendations to clients and team memberson a regular basis; escalates issues accordingly to appropriate channels.

  • Manages the input of data for proper campaigntracking using the existing lead management and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to track strategies and produce reports bysource, location, etc.; using analytical tools and other applicable technologies to analyze and communicate results and performance ofadvertising and marketing efforts.

  • Identifies and recommends continuous improvement for project strategies andimplementation.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's in Business Administration, Communications,Advertising or Marketing, preferred; and, three (3) years relevant experience in account management, marketing, project management, datamanagement or analytics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of marketing, creative writing, email and social mediacampaigns; basic understanding of multi-channel media strategy. Knowledge of overall digital agency structure and processes with anunderstanding of creative and development workflow.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicatewith a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community. Ability to communicate effectively orally and inwriting.

  • Work independently, keep organized, and foster a cooperative spirit within a large and/or small team of diversecultures, while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and frequently changing priorities.

  • Basicknowledge of project management and tools such as Basecamp, Trello or Teamwork, a plus; highly organized with solid time management andprioritization skills.

  • Ability to track campaigns and report outcomes using software applications like Eloqua and GoogleAnalytics, desirable.

  • Intermediate use of computers and Microsoft Office Suite Applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point,Outlook, and ability to learn new systems as necessary to succeed with results.

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that varybased on a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.  Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salarywithin this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state ofresidency. Compensation Range:

Annual Salary: $50,790.00 - $68,570.00
