Marketing & CommunicationsCorporate Sustainability & Social Impact Manager

In this role, you will be instrumental in positioning Accenture as a leader in sustainability. As the Corporate Sustainability Global Marketing Manager within Accenture M+C, you will be pivotal in encouraging our people to engage in programs that drive societal and environmental impact at scale.

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, innovative team player with diverse marketing skills and a passion for creating a more sustainable world.

About the role :

This role champions a broad spectrum of programs targeting diverse audiences ranging from Accenture clients, suppliers, to global NGOs to the vast community of Accenture’s 733,000 people including initiatives such as :

  • Accenture Development Partnerships working with non-profit organizations and private sector companies to progress the SDGs
  • Accenture Environmental Sustainability supporting Accenture’s external commitments, including working with Accenture’s suppliers
  • Skills to Succeed collaborating with partners globally to equip people with the skills to make substantive improvements to their lives
  • Community Impact engaging our people in initiatives from volunteering and donating to expanding everyone’s sustainability knowledge and applying it to help solve social and environmental issues

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to global marketing strategy and lead the execution of the Corporate Sustainability marketing campaigns, working with key leadership stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sustainability Services, Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Brand to drive greater synergies and maximize impact.
  • Drive campaigns and initiatives to evangelize our internal audiences : leadership, client teams, and our people. This can include written internal communications, videos, internal sites and collaboration tools.
  • Ensure the operational management of projects to time and budget (including liaising with partners, crafting key messages, managing creative deliverables and overseeing campaign rollout across channels) and draw insights from reporting metrics to refine programs and improve performance.

Provide periodic updates to leadership stakeholders.

  • Create sales enablement materials to support key business priorities.
  • Oversee external communication activities with third-party organizations and ensure all global marketing policies and procedures are followed.
  • Advise key stakeholders on external profile building and support external speaking engagements.
  • Gather testimonials and success stories for use in internal and external initiatives.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing, marketing communications or business development roles.
  • Experience working in the non-profit sector would be an advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Executive stakeholder management skills, ability to manage and build relationships, negotiate and influence colleagues within a large, matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, communicate, and measure multi-faceted marketing plans and programs.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to optimize programs based on campaign data.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Sensitivity to the cultural variances across different countries.
  • Personal flexibility to work virtually, sometimes in the office and travel if required.
