Responsibilities
The Marketing Leader is responsible for the overall marketing of FCNT's products and services (branding, marketing communications, etc.), developing and implementing strategies, and designing and executing the operations necessary to achieve results.
To achieve this, the candidate must work closely with Lenovo and Motorola, demonstrate strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a sense of speed to improve the value of FCNT's product services within the Lenovo Group, engage both executive-level and general employees, and deliver results.
In addition, all FCNT employees will be encouraged to understand the marketing strategy developed.
The following roles are basically supposed but will be decided based on candidate’s skill and experience.
- Lead the development and execution of product and service branding and marketing communication strategies to raise awareness and promote sales (market development from a new perspective, outside of the mobile industry norm) necessary to achieve the No. 1 FCNT market share.
- Lead marketing collaborations with Lenovo and Motorola.
- Work with FCNT executive level to take a bird's eye view of the business and create synergies between products and services to challenge the business model transformation of the service business.
- As a Marketing leader, contribute to raising the level of FCNT's marketing team.

- Experience and proven track record as a brand manager in a wide range of industries (consumer goods among them) and in marketing communications.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in marketing (consumer goods and services outside the cell phone industry)
- Business level English (internal, external, international) & native Japanese skills
- Communication skills (logical communication, negotiation skills, presentation skills, etc.)
- Results-oriented, never-give-up mindset
- Experience in a foreign company
- Experience in launching a new business (product or service)
- Building relationships that enable Co-Marketing (collaboration) not only with FCNT alone, but also with other companies.
