Lead Mobile solution/application architecture for medium to large engagements, deliver technically sophisticated applications, identify, and institutionalize standard methodologies across multiple customer projects and architects WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF delivering technically sound projects across one / multiple customers WITHIN the guidelines of the customer and Cognizant standards and norms.
Location: Denver - CO USA (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the clients, customers in creating and applying enterprise solutions on mixed mobile platforms considering use cases like multi-group or multi-tenant platforms and ensuring CTS architecture principles and QOA (Quality of Architecture).
- Ensure alignment of the high-level architecture with the existing client need and business logic; review design prepared by architects.
- Provide best in class technology and solution options to customers by driving the architecture discussion and POV conversation with product, IT and business teams; guide customer on process and technology improvements to achieve agility and quick results.
- See opportunities for optimization of cost/time/assets utilization in sophisticated projects and advise relevant teams accordingly.
- Interact and engage with customers or partners with new innovative ideas, concepts, assets, as well as industry trends and implications.
- Participate in client presentation and client visits.
- Conduct beta testing and POC as applicable.
- Review outputs to ensure NFRs are met.
- Compare various designs and propose appropriate technology solutions based on the understanding of the RFP and inputs from Architects.
- Review estimations, resource, risk, and mitigation plans.
- Capable of making timely decisions while taking care of uncertain & inadequate information.
- Provide advice to teams facing sophisticated technical issues during project delivery.
- Support technical evaluation of external and internal candidates to meet project requirements.
- Conduct training/certifications with the help of academy and mentoring with respect to technical skills on projects.
- Gain and nurture domain expertise to provide best and optimized solution to customer.
- Create design documents, reports, white papers (international/national) on the research findings.
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering graduate with overall 12+ years of experience in IT and 6+ years of experience in mobile apps architecture with a focus on design and development of solution architecture, development standard processes.
- Should be able to propose new solution architecture based on client business requirement and present a convincing solution.
- Should have good presentation and consulting skills and has experience of participating POV/ Proposal presentation to client partner.
- Expertise in Mobile Platforms Android and iOS with Java, Kotlin, Obj-C, Swift.
- Exposure in multiple Hybrid Mobile technologies like React Native, Ionic, Flutter, Xamarin.
- Expertise in app memory management, Multithreading, Networking, security and Unit Testing.
- Identify the right technical components/frameworks for the business requirements
- Be up to date on the latest industry trends on iOS, Android and Hybrid mobile technologies.
- Ability to architect Mobile solution with multiple Mobile middleware services of AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Ability to integrate backend systems like SAP, Salesforce, and specific systems with Restful/SOAP services.
- App Store and Play Store release and deployment.
- Proficient in Mobile DevOps with version control, CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
- Knowledge on any cloud platform is a plus, e.g., AWS, Google, Azure, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile development process and methodologies.

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 – $156,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
