**18 month Contract Position**

As a  Project Manager, you assist in planning and delivering small-size project(s) with the internal focus from initiation through delivery. You will participate in cross-functional activities, supporting the completion of the project while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements. You will facilitate and support the Product Configuration and Execution team and Master Data Business Capability Office with key activities in Project Management and team effectiveness. You will work closely with Business Capability Owners (BCOs), Business Capability Leads(BCLs), and Business Capability Specialists (BCSs), as well as the site and affiliate stakeholders, to ensure the successful completion of strategic and operational project deliverables. You will drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, innovation, cost containment, and high-quality processes across Product Configuration and product master data and supply chain processes.

The Opportunity:

  • Your Project Management expertise will include Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan, as required by the selected project management methodology (e.g. product backlogs, work breakdown structures)

  • You will develop and communicate the project governance: roles and responsibilities, decision-making process and authority levels for decisions including recording and managing project risks and issues, proposing corrective actions when needed and escalating where necessary

  • You will manage project deliverables in line with the project plan, project progress and performance (e.g. by setting and tracking success metrics) including estimating project costs, internal and external costs, and reviewing on a regular basis in order to have an accurate latest budget estimation. 

  • You will work closely with the final customer to ensure successful project delivery, handover, proper project closure, and/or operationalization of processes.

  • You will manage project stakeholders, providing them regular status updates or maintaining appropriate product and sprint backlogs, as required. Liaise with and update the Business Capabilities Owner and PC&E LT members, Project & Portfolio manager and customers, as required. Informs of variances from the plan and proposes corrective actions.

  • Continuously engage the users, BCOs, BCLs, BCSs and other groups as necessary to discuss and design the changes in business processes, organizational structure, or solutions.

Who you are 

  • You will have a BS/BA in science, engineering, or project management is preferred.

  •  5-7 years of business/operations experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (MS / MBA is a plus).

  • You will  have a  minimum of 3 years of project management experience (preferably in the pharma/biopharma/medical device or related industry) required. A relevant Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Scrum, SAFe) is also required including proficiency in project management software (e.g. Smartsheet, MS Project, Trello).

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, can influence and negotiate at all levels and build trusted relationships in a matrix organization.

  • Sound understanding of Supply Chain setup and design.

  • Strong complexity management skills, oriented to results and focus on resource management.
