Mission and objectives
Academic mobility center structure is the following: 1. Organisation presidium - consists of a minimum of 3 people and defines the strategy, activities and partnership cooperation. Today we have eight presidium members. Every member has a right to vote for the decision, and all decisions are accepting on a qualitative majority system. 2. President - a member of presidium who has executive power in the organization. President can appoint his/her deputy - vice-president and other work members who are not obligatory presidium members. 3. Stewardship Council - a group of honourable people who gather two times per year to estimate the progress of the organisation and give the recommendations. Their recommendations do not have any influence on the organisation work. 4. Founders of an organization are people who have established the organisation. Nowadays the founder is Maksim Orlov who is currently a president of the organisation.
Context
Academic Mobility Center creates informative guides for Russian speaking students to prepare them for international education and living in many countries across the globe. These guides are free to use, are published and disseminated through Academic Mobility Center community. Such guides include information of culture, education, volunteering, language and work in concrete country a guide represents. The example of the guide may be found at: https://academic-mobility.ru/ge_guideThe aim of such guides is to provide most essential information that impacts decision of students education and career development. Moreover, it is proved that collecting all data in one spot assists equality of people who seek this information, have a different level of language computer usage proficiency.This research is designed to contribute educational and cultural cooperation between nations of all countries, as well as contribute cultural exchanges of information. The task is created under 4th and 17th Sustainable Development goals and present the opportunity for nations to work together.
Task description
Each volunteer will have a field of research. It is expected that each volunteer will provide a 12-15 pages data collection in the format presented by Academic Mobility Center. The information should be collected in Spanish.Volunteers will be asked to research various aspects of livingin Spain to create the most adequate guide for Russian speaking students, All volunteer's tasks include:- Research of cultural aspects, such as national holidays, cuisine, music, mentality.- Research of work: Employment (sources where to look for a job), working conditions, visa to work- Research of language learning: Language standards, tests, where to study language- Research of volunteering: Volunteer centres in Spain
