Within the Vehicle Motion Division we design and develop state-of-the art safety and motion solutions for passenger cars, light trucks, and up to medium heavy trucks. Vehicle Motion provides solutions for mobility through steering, braking, occupant safety, and vehicle dynamic sensors. Vehicle Motion is also a leader in the software and services that will support the future of Software Defined Vehicles.

Job Description

Responsible for:setting objectives, developing and implementing sales strategies and action plans.
leading on-time/on-quality sales external/internal activities and support account managers objectives and tasks.
developing relationships with customers, with the organization skills and versatility to manage several customer projects simultaneously.

Meets with customer representatives regionally and globally to ensure program / project objectives are being met within designated parameters.
Maintain assigned program commercial parameters including (but not limited to) sales, releases, revenue, piece price, tooling, development costs, forecasting/planning, past due payments, open order investigations and customer satisfaction.
Develop sales strategy and quotation logic for negotiations with customer.
Expected travel is 25%+ of the time including some international travel.

Qualifications

5+ years of previous automotive Tier 1 Sales/Commercial/Account/Product Management experience.
Ability to travel 25%+ of the time including some international travel.
Excellent oral and written (English) language skills required.
Advanced negotiation and pricing skills.
Individual must have ability to make independent decisions that may be of a complex nature, and manage escalation topics.
Ability to create a goal, strategy and plan to support achievement of the department's mission. This would include understanding of strengths and weaknesses of the organization along with its challenges, defining the priorities and strategy to fulfill specific objectives of the mission, and motivating / supporting / developing / leading their team to execute the proper plans to fulfill the mission.
Ability to create and deliver clear, concise presentations.
Must have moderate to advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Outlook software. Must be capable of learning other software packages.
Individual must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with coworkers and customers in a professional manner.
