The Role
We’re looking for Senior Consultant who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, you will analyze our insurance clients' business and technology challenges and build creative solutions to drive transformation. You will be responsible for participating in the requirements analysis process, developing strong working relationships with clients and team members and building industry and domain expertise. Specifically, as a Senior Business Analyst, you have the opportunity to deliver immediate value to clients by working with a project-based team of consultants.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field. Master’s degree preferred
Responsibilities:
- Understand the business requirements and assess the impact to the ClaimVantage (Sales force based insurance platform) to come up with System level user stores / requirements
- Identify the right way to use Claims Vantage (using Out of the box vs customizations) to implement the business requirements
- Work with Claims Vantage Architect / Technical team / QA team for the estimating / developing / grooming / implementing / Testing the backlog
- Perform basic pre-QA validation of the developed functionality within a sprint
- Triage the defects to identify / ensure all CRs are addressed appropriately
- Lead Customer demo’s of the developed product in an incremental manner.
- Strong Business Analysis skills – system requirements, user story creation etc.,
- Insurance Domain knowledge – Group Life, Disability and Absence Management
- Hands on experience to build process maps and functional requirements
- ClaimVantage / Sales force knowledge is a must
- Ability to work with a team of BA’s across shores and manage the requirements delivery

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 2/29/2024
The annual salary for this position is between $69,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
