Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define API requirements and ensure seamless integration with other microservice applications
- Work with containerization technologies like Kubernetes (K8s) and Helm for efficient application deployment
- Write automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of the APIs
- Apply object-oriented programming principles (OOPs) to design and develop reusable components
- Continuously improve the security, performance, and scalability of the APIs
Requirements :
- Proficiency in working with JSON and building RESTful APIs
- Track record for delivering large-scale software products
- Experience with testing frameworks and practices
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Solid understanding of relational databases
- A related technical degree
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in Java and Spring Boot framework / JavaScript, node.js, Postgresql
- Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns
- Knowledge of cloud-native development practices and computing
- Familiarity with AWS services
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelines
