Job Title – T24 Business Analyst (L2 Finance)
Designation: Manager
Background
The T24 L2 Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing issues raised in production environment and provide resolution to the L3 development team for the finance and tax streams. This is a great opportunity for candidates to shift to IT services industry.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelors/Post Graduate Degree in Commerce with an MBA (Finance) or professional accounting qualification
· Candidates with 8+ years prior experience in nationalized banks, NBFCs or accounting firms
· Strong finance background with good understanding of functional/business knowledge on finance functions
· Profound working knowledge on Microsoft Excel
· Exposure/Working knowledge on financial accounting and tax modules in core banking system like Temenos Transact (T24), Finacle or FLEXCUBE would be added advantage.
· Working knowledge or prior knowledge on tax processing would be an added advantage e.g., GST applicability etc. Strong knowledge on Finance processes and functions
· Bring in positive attitude and ability to approach a problem in a structured manner.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· As a Senior Business Analyst in the L2 support (Production) team, the issues that are raised in production must be analyzed by leveraging on business and system knowledge.
· Ability to drive and take ownership to ensure timely reporting of issues and statistics in an orderly manner.
· Propose solution or workaround from a system perspective for L3 (Customization/development) team.
· Resolve IT application-related incidents, service requests and problems in a timely and efficient manner in line with Business requirements.
· Strictly follow the department processes for issue resolution, escalation, and triage on the incident and service requests
· Support the L2 finance lead when it comes to dealing with Finance and tax related issues on a firefighting mode.
· Perform daily system sanity checks to ensure that the system is always in BALANCE.
· Establish very well in team and bring in individual contribution as well as collaborate with the team and bring out the best output.
· Ability to build relationships with colleagues and command respect from clients.
· Ensure problem prevention methods are continuously applied to improve service levels and reduce costs.
· Prioritize and schedule assigned support activities and sub-tasks.
· Working knowledge on JIRA, HPSM ticketing etc
· Ensure closure of outstanding JIRA’s as when the corrective actions are taken.
· Flexibility in working as per business needs and understand client specific financial processes to optimize the time spent on analysis in the long run.
· Should be open for learning/acquiring new skills and be extremely agile to grasp the new learnings and contribute based on the dynamic organizational requirements.
