We bring small-batch, restaurant-quality meals to eaters nationwide, crafted by a diverse collective of all-star chefs. With over 100 inspired chefs from cities like NYC, LA, Austin, and more, our weekly subscription offers a wide range of hand-crafted meals to cater to various palates and dietary preferences.

By delivering over 1 million meals per month, we're also empowering working chefs, tripling their income, and supporting their growth. CookUnity believes in fueling stronger communities, partnering with Food Bank For New York City to combat food insecurity across all five boroughs.

As the Talent Acquisition & Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind our Talent Team, steering a very lean, resourceful, and highly collaborative group. Embracing autonomy, growth, and excellence, you will lead a dynamic ensemble of talent professionals focused on identifying and attracting exceptional individuals. In this role, you will not only empower your team but also enhance our recruitment processes and drive employee development. The role:

The Talent Acquisition & Development Manager position plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing our talent strategies. This role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of talent management, and driving recruitment excellence. You’ll be responsible for empowering and grow your team and leverage data for insightful reporting. Additionally, spearhead employee development initiatives and implement tailored talent management programs, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of industry best practices and growth.

Responsibilities:

Lead Talent Acquisition:

Oversee and enhance the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring it aligns with business goals and attracts top-tier talent.

Work collaboratively with senior executives and HR partners to identify critical skills and competencies required for organizational success.

Provide leadership and guidance to the Talent Acquisition and development team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Implement strategies to enhance the team's capabilities, ensuring they stay ahead in the dynamic talent landscape

Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent management processes and report on these to stakeholders

Identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making

Collaborate with the employee onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for new hires.

Talent Development:

Drive employee development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.

Tailor talent management programs to meet the needs of a diverse and global workforce, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives

Collaborate with HR Business Partners in the development and implementation of performance management and succession planning strategies to identify and nurture internal talent for key roles

[Must Have] Minimum Requirements:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Talent Acquisition and experience designing and/or collaborating with employee development, succession planning, performance management strategies.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing talent management programs in a diverse and global organization.
  • Familiarity with large tech workforces and their unique talent dynamics
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
[Should have] & [Nice to have] Preferred requirements:
  • Understanding of cultural differences and experience creating inclusive programs for diverse talent.
  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, providing strategic guidance to senior leadership.
