Main Purpose :
We require accomplished Project Managers with in-depth experience of and a track record of success in managing complex software deployment projects, from inception through to delivery and post-deployment support.
Within this role, the candidate will manage the delivery of component parts of a strategic renovation program for the terminals management division, delivering major functional enhancements and technical infrastructure.
The Project Manager applies organizational strategy to governing the conduct of projects, including application of appropriate methodologies.
Leads project planning, scheduling, controlling and
reporting activities for strategic, high impact, high risk projects. Manages risk and ensures that solutions to problems are implemented in line with change control processes.

Experience :
10+ plus years’ experience in structured project governance and project management methodologies
Duties / Areas of Responsibility :
The position will involve but is not limited to the following areas of responsibility :
- Ensuring the flow of work from the product org through the various stages of the delivery is smooth and efficient. Specifically,
- Work with the product owners / product managers / engineering leads / delivery leads to ensure that the backlogs are maintained (estimated, prioritised, dependencies understood, reflecting technical as well as functional work etc)
- Plan the work for a release (initial allocation of features to sprints) and at a detailed level for each of the upcoming sprints
- Work with delivery team members (Devs, QA and BAs) to elaborate designs and get agreement with the product org and business
- Ensure designs and features are appropriately broken down into stories, elaborated, developed, unit tested and functionally tested
- Ensure sufficient regression testing is carried out, and ensure the backlog of regression tests to be automated is being appropriately burnt down
- Ensure that features meet the Definition of done’ before they are included in the scope of a release and handed over to CQA
- Ensure issues raised during CQA, UAT and in production are efficiently managed
- Ensure there is sufficient resourcing in the delivery pod to meet the forward expected demand
- Manage dependencies, risks and progress reporting to PMO
- Involved with planning the transformation from the current org structure and operating model to the target structure (gradual move of CQA to instream, changes needed to story / delivery epic workflow, new cadence meetings etc)

- Must be acclimatized working and dealing with client managers / senior management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong change management skills, ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Capable of working in groups as well as independently.
- Professional management of employee relationships at all levels.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Team player with an enthusiastic approach to fresh challenges
