About the job We´re looking for a talented and creative Video Editor with a passion for YouTube.  In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality content for our social media, short form videos for Youtube, thumbnails and Instagram posts with Canva, as well as designing graphics. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: Video Editing Mastery : The ideal candidates should have extensive experience in video editing, with a strong focus on creating engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. They should be proficient in using industry-standard editing software (Adobe Creative Suite) and possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring videos are visually appealing, well-paced, and captivating. Social Media Savviness : Candidates must have an in-depth understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok as social media platforms. They should be up to date with the latest trends, algorithms, and features that drive audience engagement. Knowledge of analytics and metrics to track video performance is a plus. Leading Question Expertise: The ability to craft and incorporate compelling leading questions into video content is crucial. Candidates should have a proven track record of using leading questions effectively to capture audience attention, drive conversations, and boost viewership. Motion Graphics Design : Candidates should have skills in creating engaging motion graphics and visual effects to enhance video content. Audience Engagement: Successful candidates should have a demonstrated ability to understand and connect with their target audience. They should be skilled at creating content that resonates with viewers, encouraging likes, comments, and shares. Track Record of Success: A strong portfolio or examples of previous work showcasing their talent and achievements in generating views and audience engagement is essential. Candidates should be able to provide evidence of videos that have performed exceptionally well in terms of views, likes, comments, and shares on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok. Requirements: Excellent English communication skills: C1/ C2 Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in video editing and content creation for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects) and an understanding of YouTube Studio, Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, and other relevant analytics tools. Creativity: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to produce innovative and attention-grabbing content. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for engaging with audiences, collaborating with team members, and conveying ideas effectively. Adaptability: Being adaptable to evolving trends and algorithms is important in the ever-changing landscape of social media. Candidates should be able to pivot and adjust their strategies accordingly. Proven Track Record: A portfolio or examples of previous work that demonstrate success in generating views, engagement, and audience growth on YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok.
